2008-2013

A durational performance, private collection, and home museum that blurred the lines between archive, obsession, and spectacle. What began as the display of antique and contemporary taxidermy grew into a living study of accumulation: the escalating desire to collect, catalogue, and monumentalize the natural world. Mavis was curator and Director of the collection, opening the home Museum to the public for tours, talks, photo shoots, music video’s and magazine launches.
